BorrowDirect is an expedited Interlibrary Loan service among the Ivy League libraries. Most materials are delivered within 4 business days (Looking for an article not available at Harvard? Use Interlibrary Loan)

Members of the Harvard community can use their HarvardKey and established library privileges to place Borrow Direct requests online through HOLLIS (choose "Library Catalog" in the dropdown) or the BorrowDirect catalog. You can use this service to borrow:

 *   books and printed music not owned by Harvard libraries

 *   books and printed music currently unavailable at Harvard (checked out, lost, missing, at the bindery, etc.)

 *   books and printed music that normally circulate from the Borrow Direct partner collections

Be sure to check HOLLIS first to see if what you need is currently available here at Harvard. Books held in the Harvard Library collection that are on the shelf and available for lending are not eligible for loan through BorrowDirect.
