Gutman Library works with faculty members, teaching teams, and colleagues at other libraries on campus to identify when:

  • Existing content in Gutman Library or Harvard Library’s collection can be incorporated into a course
  • New content needs to be purchased
  • New content needs to be borrowed from an outside partner library/institution
  • Faculty and teaching teams need to identify alternative materials or consider redesigning assignments if Gutman Library cannot fulfill a required course material request
