Gutman Library defines "required course materials" as material that a faculty member indicates is required on a syllabus. This can include books, book chapters, journal articles, multimedia, and other content. It can also include assigned materials that cover 20% or more of an entire work (e.g., 20 or more pages of a 100-page book).

HGSE typically expects students to purchase personal copies of required books or other required materials used in courses. Gutman Library provides supplemental access to required materials.
